Farrell community both past and present offered a memorial mass in remembrance of those who were lost. Over 1100 people attended the mass, including 14 priests, former faculty members, students, and parents. The varsity football and soccer teams were also in attendance. Rep. Farrell was not left unscathed in the wake of the terrorist attacks on Tuesday, September 11th, 2001. Our community experienced the loss of two parents, Phillip S. Petti ('01) and Louis Modafferi ('03), both of whom were firefighters. Twenty-three alumni, seven of whom were firefighters, were also lost.
