Transitions 2006
Mrs. Reitz to take Sun, not blood!!
Mrs. Kathy Reitz will not be taking any more blood from her students as she has decided to retire at the end of this school year! As the moderator of the Blood Drive each year, she has been responsible for the donation and collection of thousands of pints of life saving blood from those generous indiividuals willing to share it. The decision to choose sunbathing by the Jersey shore instead of feeding iguanas was an easy one for this veteran of 28 years at Farrell.
Mrs. Reitz had one final comment before she left for the sun and sand:
"Ontogeny recapitulates Phylogeny"
If you have a memory of Mrs. Reitz to share please e-mail to CaptWeb@msgrfarrellhs.org
I was a blood drive captain for Mrs. Reitz in 1992...at the end of that year she gave a pizza party for all that helped her out and all her AP Biology students at her home near Farrell. She was then and is now an inspiration for me. Good Luck and God Bless in your retirement
