Internet Live Streaming Service
Monsignor Farrell High School is excited to announce that we are the first school on Staten Island to partner with LocalLive, an Internet live streaming service.
A dedicated Monsignor Farrell HD video channel will soon be available to live stream our games and other special events that take place at Monsignor Farrell High School, keeping our students, parents, siblings, grandparents, alumni, and community connected.
“We are happy to welcome Monsignor Farrell High School to the network – our first school in Staten Island," said Kevin Devaney, Jr. of LocalLive. "We look forward to streaming games and other Monsignor Farrell events to their community.”
"We want our students to be able to share important events with family members who might not otherwise be able to attend."
- Louis R. Tobacco '90, President, Monsignor Farrell High School
"Not only is having the capability of live streaming important during the current period of social distancing and limited in-person attendance at events, but it will also help us reach our alumni who are located all over the world," explained Louis R. Tobacco '90, President of Monsignor Farrell High School. "We are fortunate to have a highly engaged alumni network. I am excited that LocalLive will allow our current students to be able to share their accomplishments with their older Monsignor Farrell brothers in real-time," he added.
A schedule of Monsignor Farrell High School events that will be available on LocalLive will be posted in the near future.
“I’m very excited for everyone in the entire Monsignor Farrell Community," said Tony Garofalo '89, Director of Athletics at Monsignor Farrell High School, who made the connection between Monsignor Farrell High School and LocalLive. "Our families and alumni will now have the ability to see us from anywhere in the world. It will truly enhance everyone’s overall experience watching games and other school events and help showcase our students on a large stage. LocalLive’s product is first-class and we can’t wait to get started. I am very grateful to President Tobacco and Principal Musanti for recognizing how important this is for our families and approving the project.”
