Vincent Nabavi '11 Named Director of Admissions & Recruitment


Alumnus returns to Monsignor Farrell

We are excited to announce that alumnus Vincent Nabavi '11 has returned to Monsignor Farrell High School as Director of Admissions and Recruitment, a newly formed position on our leadership team.  As Director of Admissions and Recruitment, Vincent is tasked with helping to continue the tradition of recruiting and admitting the future Vir Fideli, Faithful Men, of Monsignor Farrell High School.

Vincent rejoins Monsignor Farrell after working in the Government Programs and Strategic Planning Office of the Superintendent of Schools Office for the Archdiocese of New York.

Prior to his work with the Superintendent of Schools Office, Vincent was a member of the Monsignor Farrell High School faculty where he taught freshman and sophomore English Literature.  He also served as head coach of the cross country and indoor/outdoor track & field teams from 2014-2019.

While a teacher at Monsignor Farrell, Vincent was part of a cohort of educators that were trained and certified in Catholic School Building Leadership at the Graduate School of Education at Fordham University. Prior to his studies at Fordham, Vincent earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Adolescent Education and English Literature at St. John’s University.

During his head coaching tenure, Vincent led our Faithful Men to five Staten Island Championship team titles, including the coveted Staten Island Triple Crown Championship in cross country and indoor and outdoor track & field.
