September 9th & 10th
Welcome, Class of 2030!
Freshmen will report for two days of orientation on Wednesday, September 9th, and Thursday, September 10th.
The first full day of classes for all Farrell students will be Friday, September 11th.
Freshman Orientation Day 1
When
All members of the freshman Class of 2030 are to report for Day 1 of orientation on Wednesday, September 9th by 8:15 am. Dismissal will be at 2:30 pm.
Where
Students should enter through the gym doors (facing Amboy Road) and find a seat in the gym bleachers.
Uniform
Students are to wear the Special Occasion Uniform. ALL uniform items must be purchased from FlynnO'Hara Uniforms, with the exception of the school tie, which is only sold in the school store.
- Grey uniform pants with belt
- White or blue long or short-sleeve button-down uniform shirt
- School tie
- School blazer
- School shoes with dress socks
What to Bring
- Backpack/bookbag
- Pen and notepad/notebook
- Lunch (in-school lunch service will not be provided)
Freshman Orientation Day 2
When
All members of the freshman Class of 2030 are to report for Day 2 of orientation on Thursday, September 10th by 8:15 am. Dismissal will be approximately 11:30 am.
Where
Report directly to your homeroom. Homeroom assignments will be given out during Day 1 of orientation.
Uniform
All freshmen are to wear the fall/spring uniform. ALL uniform items must be purchased from FlynnO'Hara Uniforms.
- Khaki uniform pants with belt
- Maroon short-sleeve uniform polo shirt
- School shoe with dress socks
What to Bring
- Fully charged Lenovo (freshmen will receive their Lenovo laptop/tablet on Day 1 of orientation)
- Backpack/bookbag
- Pen and notepad/notebook
There will not be a lunch break on this day, as students will be dismissed before noon.
