Scan of the Titanic Wreck
A 2022 deep-sea mapping project by Magellan created the first full-sized 3D digital scan of the Titanic wreck, providing an unprecedented, high-fidelity "digital twin" of the vessel.
Using submersibles to take over 700,000 images, the scan covers the entire wreck and debris field in 4K, revealing new details about the sinking. All students are welcome to attend.
