Mummification and the Egyptian Book of the Dead

The Book of the Dead is the modern name given to the collection of texts the ancient Egyptians wrote to help the dead and guide them through the underworld.

The Book of the Dead is not a work from a single period of ancient Egypt, but it is a compilation of writings from throughout Egypt’s history.

All students are welcome to attend.
