He was a member of the varsity coaching staff for the back-to-back CHSFL championship teams in 1999 and 2000.
He was also responsible for uniforms and equipment for the entire football program.
Coach Romani retired in 2018 after 28 years at Farrell.
About Coach Sinagra
Coach Carl Sinagra joined the Farrell Football staff in 1995 as head coach of the freshman team. He coached the Lions to back-to-back freshman championships in 1996 and an undefeated season in 1997.
From 1998 - 2009, Coach Sinagra was an assistant on the varsity staff.
During that time, he coached wide receivers, defensive backs, and quarterbacks. As a varsity assistant, Coach Sinagra helped guide the Lions to five CHSFL championship games, including 1999 and 2000, when the Lions won back-to-back CHSFL championships.
After stepping away from the program in 2009, Coach Sinagra returned to Farrell in 2015 as the varsity running backs coach.
From 2016 - 2023, he served as the varsity quarterbacks coach and is currently an assistant coach on the JV staff, as well as the quarterbacks coach for the entire program.
A graduate of New Dorp High School, Coach Sinagra was inducted into their Football Hall of Fame in 2009.
His son, CJ, is a Farrell football alumnus and a member of the Class of 2009.
