The goals of Monsignor Farrell’s cell phone policy are to promote a respectful atmosphere and the constructive use of technology that supports the educational objectives of the school. The cell phone policy will be strictly enforced.
Students may use their cell phones in the building until 7:20 am on school days. They must then store their SILENCED phones in their top locker for the rest of the school day.
Students with a 0 period class (7:20 am) must lock their phones away before class begins.
Zero Tolerance
Any student seen with a cell phone between 7:20 am and 2:30 pm will face disciplinary action, and the phone will be confiscated.
This policy also applies to any other device a student may have that is capable of making phone calls and/or sending/receiving text messages, including watches.
