Sophomores & Parents

As we embark on this three-year journey, I would like to take a moment to introduce myself. While this marks my fifth year working here daily, my connection to Farrell runs much deeper—I am an alumnus who has remained involved with the school ever since I graduated. Currently, I serve as the Guidance Counselor for the Class of 2027, Moderator of both the National Honor Society (NHS) and CLAW, and an assistant coach for the JV basketball team.

My office door is always open. Whether your son needs academic support, guidance, or simply someone to talk to, I am here for him. Farrell's brotherhood extends far beyond the walls of this school, and your son will come to appreciate that bond as he continues to grow and mature into a Farrell Man. My role is to help him recognize and foster this sense of clarity and purpose throughout his journey.

On a final note, I want to extend a warm welcome back to all of you. Let’s make this year a foundation for your future success.

What we’ve covered so far:

  • Class Introduction & Syllabus Review: During the first week, we covered the course syllabus, which is posted on Schoology.

  • Transcript Review & Account Setup: We’ve reviewed last year’s transcripts and ensured all students can access their Naviance and College Board accounts. These platforms are vital tools for their academic and college planning. Please sit down with your son and make sure he can log onto both accounts as well.

Upcoming Focus: In the coming weeks, we’ll dive into group discussions centered around respect—respect for oneself, for others, and for the community.

Important Dates:

  • PSAT: October 16th

  • Parent Meeting - October 17th

Do not hesitate to reach out with any questions,
