A pair of eighth-grade students enjoy Monsignor Farrell's Accepted Students' Night, which was held this year at Dave and Buster's.

Welcoming the newest Lions in grand style

Some people say life is a game. If that's the case, these eighth graders are hitting the next level.

On the evening of Jan. 28, Monsignor Farrell students, faculty, coaches, and staff warmly welcomed into our brotherhood the newly accepted Class of 2029.

This year brought a new, unique and exciting look to the annual Accepted Students' Night, with this being the first edition to take place off campus. This year's event was held at Dave and Busters, providing an action packed occasion from start to finish.

This year's Monsignor Farrell Accepted Students Night was held at Dave and Buster's, providing eighth-grade students accepted into Farrell a fun environment to spend time with friends and get to meet faculty, students, and fellow incoming freshmen.

The night kicked off with a welcoming double lineup of geared up upperclassman, who were enthusiastically waiting at the door to greet, congratulate, and cheer on the future Lions as they arrived. The celebration included food, fun, and unlimited game time.

Staff along with future and current students had an opportunity to meet, have a great time, and welcome the class of 2029 into our brotherhood. This was an unforgettable event and an exciting way to welcome the new students into our Monsignor Farrell family. A big thank you to Mr. Nabavi, Director of Admissions, and Mr. Tobacco, President of Monsignor Farrell High School, for making the magic happen.

Special thanks to all the students and staff who organized and participated in this event, helping to make Accepted Students Night a memorable and great experience for all.

Farrell students served as "Big Brothers" for the evening, and they and faculty helped to make sure Accepted Students' Night ran smoothly.

Congratulations to the newly admitted class of 2029, keep up the good work and we look forward to seeing you soon!
