Social Studies Writing Prep Class
Mondays, Tuesdays, & Wednesdays
2:45 pm - 4:15 pm, Room 112
The Social Studies Writing Prep Class is offered through our partnership with Catapult Learning and will be held at Monsignor Farrell.
Open to all freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. The emphasis will be on the writing tasks that are associated with both the Global and US History Regents. Students will work with primary source documents, analyze and answer document-based questions, and learn how to outline and write essays that mirror Regents-type essays.
Classes meet on Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday from March 27th - May 3rd.
Students who miss more than two sessions will be dropped from the class.
Note: The Global Regents is given in sophomore year, however, freshmen are permitted to enroll in this course.
