All students and parents must read this information, complete the form below, and submit it by Friday, September 4th.

Below is an excerpt from the Student and Parent Handbook that all returning students and parents received and acknowledged last year. The entire handbook will be sent to all students and parents in the coming weeks. This information was also discussed at orientation. 

Grooming Standards for Students

Handbook Excerpt

We reserve the right to set the dress code and hair policy that conforms to our philosophy and objectives.

Hair

• The only hair color a student may have is his natural, God-given hair color.

• Students are not to use peroxide, sun-in, hair dye, bleach, or other chemicals that change the natural coloring of their hair.

• Hair should always be clean, combed, and trimmed in a neat style. 

• Hair should be of moderate length and not cover the eyebrows or shirt collar.

• No haircut/style deemed extreme or bizarre by the Dean of Students is acceptable. 

• Sideburns are to be neatly trimmed and may not extend below the earlobe.

• Facial hair is never permitted. Students are expected to be clean-shaven every day.

Jewelry

• Earrings, tongue rings, or other visible piercings are not acceptable and may not be worn or displayed at any time before, during, or after school. If worn, they will be confiscated.  

• It is not permitted to “cover up” earrings with band aids, etc. 

• Students who wear other forms of jewelry such as chains, nameplates, religious medals, beads, etc., must wear them under the school uniform shirt.

Tattoos

MUST NEVER BE VISIBLE

• If a student has a tattoo on his arm, he must wear the long-sleeve uniform shirt/sweater, including when the fall/spring uniform is worn. 

• If he has a tattoo on his leg, he must wear sweatpants with the gym uniform instead of shorts, or use a sleeve to cover the tattoo.

• This includes all of our athletics team uniforms.
