Special Arrival and Departure Procedures Wednesday, February 25th

For the safety of all students, parents, faculty, and staff, we need your complete cooperation with the following procedures to ensure smooth and orderly arrival and departure tomorrow.

  • **Students who are dropped off and/or picked up at school**

Please allow extra travel time tomorrow morning and afternoon.

Due to the snow conditions, especially along Amboy Road and Tysens Lane, students will only be permitted to be dropped off in the morning and picked up after school in the Circular Driveway tomorrow.

Cars cannot stop on Amboy Road in the vicinity of the school to let students out or pick students up.

Students must be ready to exit/enter their vehicle quickly once in the Circular Driveway. Students, please have all of your belongings with you (backpacks, etc.) in the car so you avoid having to go to the trunk of the car.

Once drop-off/pickup is completed, cars will only be permitted to make a RIGHT TURN out of the Circular Driveway onto Amboy Road. Left turns out of the Circular Driveway will not be permitted.

Monsignor Farrell staff and security will be on hand to assist.

  • Students who drive to school

The student parking lot is clear of snow and will be open. ALL students who drive to school - seniors with parking lot permits, seniors without parking lot permits, and any junior who drives to school are all permitted to park in the senior parking lot tomorrow. There are no available parking spots on the surrounding blocks due to the snow, including Amboy Road and Tysens Lane.

We strongly encourage all students who are driving to school tomorrow to park in the senior parking lot.

Both entrances on Amboy Road into the parking lot will be open tomorrow. They are only for students, faculty, and staff to use. For the safety and security of our students, faculty, and staff, parents are not to enter the main parking lot with their vehicles to use as a cut-through or to turn around.

Students who are driving to school are reminded to drive cautiously at all times, including in the parking lot.

  • Students who take the train

The path from the train station to the school is clear and will be open as usual

  • Students who take the bus
