The Center for Learning and Academic Wellness (CLAW) Begins

Monday, October 5 2026

The Center for Learning and Academic Wellness (CLAW) at Monsignor Farrell is a peer tutoring enrichment service spearheaded by members of the National Honor Society (NHS), designed to aid students in any academic subject.

CLAW is available to all students and is offered every morning in the Brother S. Wright Learning Commons before homeroom and on Tuesdays after school (unless otherwise specified)

Appointments are not necessary, and students can use CLAW as needed.

No matter where students are on their academic journey, CLAW is a resource students can utilize to hone their abilities and take ownership of their grades.

When attending CLAW sessions, students are expected to come with specific questions or issues to be worked on. While homework assignments can be the focus of these sessions, the expectation is that tutors will use specific questions to teach concepts. Tutors will NOT simply give students answers to homework assignments.

If you have any questions about CLAW, please see Mr. Acri or email him.
