Congratulations to those students who will be receiving awards at the Underclassmen Awards Ceremony!
Email notifications were sent out to students on May 5th at 7:00 pm. You can also click here to see the list.
Each student receiving an award is invited to attend the ceremony on Tuesday, May 12th, at Farrell with up to two guests. RSVP is not necessary.
Academic Awards
Academic awards are presented to freshmen, sophomores, and juniors in all three programs of study (Scholars, Honors, and Regents) for First and Second in Merit in English, foreign language, history and social science, mathematics, religion, and science.
General Excellence awards for First and Second in Merit are also awarded to freshmen, sophomores, and juniors.
Students who demonstrate excellence as members of our academic institutes and societies also earn academic awards.
Students who receive an academic award may also receive a service award on this night (if applicable).
Service Awards
The Vir Fidelis, the Faithful Man, lives his life for others. Service above self is a core principle of Monsignor Farrell High School. Service awards are presented to juniors who have demonstrated a 2 to 3-year commitment to the service activity based on the moderator's recommendation.
