Representative Nicole Malliotakis and the Office of Senator Kirsten Gilibrand will be hosting information nights for students interested in attending a service academy.

*These events are not held at Monsignor Farrell and are not Monsignor Farrell High School-sponsored or affiliated events.

Wednesday, June 3rd

 
The New York City Office of U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand will be holding a Service Academy Information Night on Wednesday, June 3, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm (doors open at 5:45 pm) at John Jay College, located at 591 W 58th St, New York, NY 10019.  
  
Interested high school students and parents are invited to register online to attend the event and receive more information by clicking here.
  
The event will highlight the unique opportunities available through the nation’s five service academies. It will also feature presentations by a local Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program and a representative from a Department of Defense (DoD) Cyber Scholarship Program. 
 
Event attendees will have the opportunity to hear from representatives of the following offices and institutions: 
 
  • The Office of U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand 
  • U.S. Military Academy 
  • U.S. Naval Academy 
  • U.S. Coast Guard Academy 
  • U.S. Merchant Marine Academy 
  • U.S. Air Force Academy 
  • ARMY ROTC 
  • DoD Cyber Scholarship Program 

 


 


Monday, June 15th

Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis will be hosting a U.S. Service Academy Information Night for students interested in applying to one of the United States Service Academies

The event will take place on Monday, June 15, at 6:00 pm (registration begins at 5:30 pm) at the Cespino Russo American Legion Post (200 McLean Avenue, Staten Island).

Representatives from West Point, the Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, and Merchant Marine Academy will be in attendance to discuss the application process, requirements, and Congressional nominations.
