About Mr. Dunn

B.S. - Accounting & Computer Information Systems, Manhattan College
Mr. Dunn has extensive experience in safety and emergency management, having spent over 30 years as a member of the New York City Fire Department, retiring as a Battalion Chief.
Part of Mr. Dunn's responsibilities at Farrell include enhancing and implementing our emergency action plan, procedures, and safety standards.
A 1984 graduate of St. Peter’s High School, Mr. Dunn won the Jaques Award, presented to the top basketball player on Staten Island in his senior year. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and computer information systems from Manhattan College in 1989.
Mr. Dunn coached in the Farrell basketball program for 18 years, including 15 as head coach of the varsity team. Before retiring from coaching in 2025, Mr. Dunn compiled a 233-143 career record as our varsity head coach, making him Farrell’s all-time winningest varsity basketball coach.
He and his wife, Anna Maria Dunn, M.D., have three children: Devin, Monsignor Farrell High School Class of 2012; Alessandra; and Jake, Monsignor Farrell High School Class of 2018.
