Congratulations to all underclassmen who will be receiving awards at our annual Underclassmen Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, May 13th!
As a result of superior academic performance and/or dedicated service to Monsignor Farrell High School, freshmen, sophomores, and juniors will be recognized at our Underclassmen Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, May 13th, at 6:30 pm at Farrell.
Notifications and invitations to the ceremony and reception were emailed on Monday, May 7th, to those students who will be receiving awards. The email was not sent to parents. The RSVP date for the ceremony and reception is Sunday, May 11th.
Ceremony & Reception

Students receiving awards are invited to attend the ceremony with up to two guests. Please RSVP by midnight, Sunday, May 11th, using the link below.
A brief practice for the ceremony will take place during 8th period on Tuesday, May 13th.
Students receiving awards should arrive for the ceremony no later than 6:00 pm in the special occasion uniform (gray uniform pants, white or blue uniform dress shirt, uniform blazer, lapel pin, and school tie). You do not need to wear your special occasion uniform to school for the practice.
A reception will be held for students and their guests following the ceremony.
Academic Awards
Academic awards are given to freshmen, sophomores, and juniors in all three programs of study (Scholars, Honors, and Regents) for First and Second in Merit in English, foreign language, history and social science, mathematics, religion, and science.
General Excellence awards for First and Second in Merit are also awarded to freshmen, sophomores, and juniors.
Students who demonstrate excellence as members of our academic institutes and societies also earn academic awards.
Students who receive an academic award may also receive a service award on this night (if applicable).
Service Awards
The Vir Fidelis, the Faithful Man, lives his life for others.
Service above self is a core principle of Monsignor Farrell High School.
Service awards will be awarded to juniors who have demonstrated a 2-to-3-year commitment to the service activity based on the moderator's recommendation.
