Students with Failing Grades or Failing Regents Exam Scores
Students who fail a course (final average below 65) or a Regents exam must fulfill specific academic requirements before returning to Monsignor Farrell High School in September.
Course Failures
- If a student fails a course, information regarding the make-up process will be provided directly to parents by Mr. Fisher. These courses may be completed either remotely (asynchronously) or in person, depending on the subject and the number of enrolled students.
Regents Exam Failures
- Students who do not pass a Regents exam are required to attend Regents review classes beginning Monday, August 4th, and continuing daily (excluding Fridays) through Monday, August 18th. The make-up Regents exam will be administered by the state on either Tuesday, August 19th or Wednesday, August 20th, depending on the official schedule.
Please note: Both the review classes and the make-up exam are mandatory for students to be allowed to return to Monsignor Farrell High School in September.
