Our Farrell family came together and made lasting memories this holiday.

On Nov. 30, the Spirit of Christmas was captured as family and friends gathered to kick off the 2023 Christmas season. With a clear night sky, and what most would call perfect weather, the occasion, which took place on our very own campus, attracted thousands of people of all ages.

They all came together with one intention, and that was to celebrate Monsignor Farrell's Annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Nativity Blessing.

Our campus was bright and thriving on that night, and from the moment you entered the event, you could sense the festivity, captured by the sights, sounds, and smells that bring a touch of magic to the Christmas season.

Our holiday lights and massive performance stage, set the tone for the evening's highlight, which was the lighting of our beautiful Christmas tree. The Spirit of Christmas was brought to life with special live performances from students from St. Charles, the Farrell band, and more.

Whether you decided to ice skate through the night alongside our hockey team, walk through the Christmas Village with friends, or treat yourself to brownies, hot chocolate, and cannolis that were made by our Italian club, there was surely something for everyone.

The spectacular live reindeer melted the hearts of many, and the reindeer games were delightful and brought smiles to all. The snow globes brought excitement to the youngest of hearts, and our Farrell mascot walked around to show school spirit and make everyone feel a part. All had an opportunity to go to Santa's workshop, take pictures, and meet Santa himself!

The event brought memorable tradition and joy to all. Thank you to all who made this night possible, to the FDNY, and NYPD, and to the sponsors and volunteers. The Farrell family and community came together to make this an unforgettable event.
