Parking in the student parking lot during the school day is a senior privilege that may be revoked by the deans and/or school administration at their discretion.
When parking on campus, seniors are to park their cars in the Senior Parking Lot only. They may not park elsewhere, e.g., the circular driveway, the faculty or staff lots, etc.
Any student motor vehicle which is parked on school property must be registered with the Dean of Students.
When the car is properly registered, a vehicle permit will be issued for it. Only 75 senior parking permits will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis.
The permit must be prominently displayed on the dashboard for clear examination of the identification number.
The permit must be presented to Monsignor Farrell's security personnel and/or faculty and staff upon request.
A separate permit must be requested for each vehicle.
Monsignor Farrell High School is not responsible for any damage that may occur to any vehicle parked on school property. Students park at their own risk.
Vehicles parked on the school premises are subject to search at the discretion of the school.
Students who elect to park off-campus must abide by all local laws. Please be sure not to block driveways, park on fire hydrants, etc.
Students who drive to school are reminded to always lock their car doors when leaving their vehicle, whether parked in the senior lot or elsewhere.
Abuse of the above may result in the withdrawal of parking privileges and appropriate disciplinary action.
During school hours, the parking areas will be locked and off-limits to students. Students contemplating earlier dismissal should park off campus since the parking lot gates will not be opened until after 1:00 pm for security reasons.
Permits are not to be duplicated in any way, transferred, or sold to another student.
Students will be required to pay $5.00 dollars for lost/stolen/damaged placards.
Students are required to turn in their parking permits to the Dean of Students at the end of the school year. Any student who does not turn in their permit will be required to pay a fee of $5. Failure to pay the fee may result in the withholding of final report cards, transcripts, and/or diplomas until the fee is paid.
If you have any questions regarding parking, please email Mr. Crowley, Assistant Dean of Students.
Permits will be distributed to seniors at orientation in September (available to the first 75 applicants).
